The bottleneck
is proof.

Many packaging and plastic structures fail not because of the idea of recycling, but because of what can technically be removed, reduced, or separated from the material in practice.
This is exactly where RIPA comes in. We provide technical proof in cases where pure theory, standard assumptions, or simple desk assessments do not enable a reliable decision.
What RIPA
Demonstrates

RIPA verifies complex material transformations and technical separations in line with the specific project scope. This includes in particular:
-
Deinking
-
Aluminum separation
-
Odor removal
-
Before/after comparison of the material
-
Analytical evaluation of critical substances within the agreed scope
-
Heavy metal screening
-
Technical separation of complex multilayer structures
-
Basis for further sorting and separation
A key lever: the separation
of multilayer structures

RIPA enables the processing of many complex packaging structures in such a way that the individual polymer fractions are present separately after treatment and can subsequently be further separated by technical means. Especially in the case of demanding multilayer combinations, this transforms a previously blocked structure into a material stream that can be reassessed, sorted, and managed more economically.
Tested structure examples: PP/PE, PP/PET, PE/PET, PP/PA, PE/PA
Who RIPA Verification Is
Designed For

RIPA Verification is aimed at recyclers, plant operators, packaging manufacturers, converters, industrial companies, brand owners, R&D departments, as well as public programs, ministries, and project sponsors with a need for technical evaluation.
How a Project
with RIPA Works

Step 1: Request
You submit the structure, material description, and intended objective.
Step 2: Scope definition
RIPA defines the technical test framework and the exact scope of services.
Step 3: Testing
The agreed analyses and tests are conducted and fully documented.
Step 4: Results
You receive a technical evaluation with a clear, decision-oriented statement within the defined scope.
Step 5: Next steps
If required, follow-up actions such as re-testing, benchmarking, project deepening, or implementation support can be carried out.
